Snake Mesh Separators provides a quick, easy, and economical method of support between two layers of reinforcement in concrete slabs and panels. These mesh separators are supplied in an effective length of 2.0 meters and range in sizes from 40mm up to 180mm.
Fields of Application
The Snake Spacer is perfect for any panel applications that call for double layers of reinforcement. By sitting on top of the bottom layer of reinforcement, it eliminates exposure issues that wire chairs can create.
It’s also perfect for slab and deck applications where double reinforcement is required and where the reinforcement mesh or bar aperture is less than 200mm, making it difficult to step through the bottom layer. The average spacing is one piece per linear meter but varies according to the load and style of the top reinforcement.
