Steel Shims are used for leveling Concrete Precast Panel, Machinery, and Transportable Buildings. Plastic Packing Shims go by multiple names, including Construction Packers, Structural Packers, or Panel Packers.
They are cut from plain steel and are zinc plated. Similar to plastic shims, Actech’s steel shims are available in various thicknesses.
Actech Steel Shims are made for situations where plastic is not durable enough, especially for machinery or if there are concerns about fire rating.
