Overview
Icaro Benders are designed to be highly productive and enduring over time. In order to make them extremely versatile, Icaro machines were conceived in different versions: they can be fitted with a high or low working bench, with two or four saddles, either long or short. Final users will therefore be able to operate them freely and with a great level of ease, according to their needs.
The powerful gearbox, made of robust laminate and immersed in a special oil bath, doesn’t require any kind of maintenance. All inside components are built in special, heat-treated steel; additionally, helical gears allow for the workload to be evenly distributed among them, so as to make them virtually undestroyable.
All reduction and other gears are assigned a serial number so as to guarantee traceability. Icaro benders are equipped with a self-braking motor and the electrical wiring components all come from the most renowned suppliers.
Versatility is what really distinguishes Icaro benders from other products of the same type: a high working bench makes maintenance procedures really easy because it avoids the sedimentation of metal powder on the working disc and in the gearbox. Being able to choose between long or short saddles gives end users great freedom while working and when installing optionals.

Key Points
Icaro benders are made abiding by European CE standard and worldwide regulations. All machines have passed very stringent quality checks that abide by ISO9001/2008 norms.
All Icaro tests were carried out using threaded bars coming from all over the world. The threaded bars we used all followed these standards: DIN 488, BS 4449/2005, BS4449/97, ASTM/A706/ A706M-00, ASTM/A615M-2000, UNE 36068, LNEC E450, NEN6008 (NL), NF A 35080-1, SD490 with different GRADE and toughness.
The heat treating process used on all equipment is the result of numerous years of studying and experience in our field; the variety of bars used to test the components of Icaro machines represents all the possible degrees of hardness available on the market.
All components have proven great endurance. All pins are made of 18NiCR steel and have been through a carbonitriding and tempering process.
