ALTAS is a brand name exclusively distributed throughout Australia by Actech International Pty Ltd for Ferrules, Foot and Foot Eye Anchors, Utility and Hairpin style Anchors and their related accessories.
All ALTAS LIFTFIX and ALTAS RINGLIFT Clutches that are designed to work with the ALTAS anchors also comply with the requirements of Australian Standard AS3850:2015 Part 1 and 2 and AS3850:2021 Part 3.
All ALTAS Clutches are subject to material testing including fluorescent magnetic particle testing, and are designed to exceed the 4:1 Factor of Safety design load and each clutch is proof tested to 2:1 Factor of Safety in Australia by an independent NATA lab before being provided to a customer. Each clutch is marked with a logo to identify the brand, has an individual serial number stamped on the bale of the clutch or a tag fixed to the clutch to match up the NATA test certificate to that clutch when provided to a customer.
